Solution Architect

We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect for a 3-month contract in Sydney CBD. This role offers a hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office per week, and it presents a unique opportunity to lead the transformation of a core system from a .Net monolithic architecture to a modern microservices framework within the Azure ecosystem.

Position Overview:
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of our microservices architecture within Azure. This critical role involves driving the modernization of our systems while ensuring the highest levels of security. Your expertise in .Net, C#, Azure, DevOps, and microservices will be key to the success of this project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the roadmap for migrating from a .Net monolithic system to a microservices architecture on Azure.
• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Evaluate and implement best practices in DevOps and microservices development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and represent our organization professionally.
• Utilize your security expertise to ensure the highest levels of data protection throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Strong expertise in .Net and C#.
• Proven experience with Azure and microservices architecture.
• A background in DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
