Technical Lead

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Lead for a 6-month contract based in Sydney CBD. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days in the office per week. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading a talented team to transform a core system from a .Net monolithic architecture to a modern microservices framework within the Azure ecosystem.


Position Overview:
As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and overseeing the development and implementation of our microservices architecture on Azure. This is a pivotal role in driving the modernization of our systems while ensuring top-notch security. Your expertise in .Net, C#, Azure, DevOps, and microservices will be instrumental in the success of this project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers and architects.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the roadmap for migrating from a .Net monolithic system to a microservices architecture on Azure.
• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Evaluate and implement best practices in DevOps and microservices development.
• Act as a key liaison between stakeholders and represent our organization professionally.
• Utilize your security expertise to ensure the highest levels of data protection throughout the project.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Strong expertise in .Net and C#.
• Proven experience with Azure and microservices architecture.
• A background in DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
