Cloud Engineer

4Twenty Consulting have partnered with a well known Insurance provider who are looking for a Cloud Engineer specializing in Azure and Terraform.  Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions using Azure and Terraform, ensuring the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability. Experience in setting up Azure Policy in Terraform will be a significant advantage in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-based solutions.
• Create and enforce Azure Policy using Terraform to ensure compliance and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources to maximize efficiency.
• Implement best practices for cloud governance and cost management.
• Stay up-to-date with cloud industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1+ experience as a Cloud Engineer with a strong focus on Azure and Terraform.
• Experience in setting up Azure Policy in Terraform is highly desirable.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) would be a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
